Business news network CNBC said last week it is placing additional investment into online finance company Affinity Plus Affinity and other businesses. CNBC will offer its content to Affinity Plus, which includes a financial news network, a business channel and other digital products. CNBC said Affinity Plus will be the first business-to-business media brand, and that CNBC will be the first to offer these services as a bundled package. CNBC said it will make that content available through its own online network and other media networks like the Business News Channel (BNN) in Canada.

With the latest investment, CNBC said it will invest $40 million over the next two years to grow business-to-business-focused platforms.

Business network CNBC will announce its purchase of business marketing services provider Newmark Marketing Group Inc. (LMGC) at the CNBC Media and Business Marketing Conference in Boston, CNBC said Monday. CNBC said the purchase of LMGC is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2013.
Hudson Technologies
Financial services and consumer products distributor Hudson Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: HDSN) will hold a special stockholder meeting to approve a merger agreement with the BNY Mellon Capital Markets' buyout division. ET Monday at Hudson's headquarters in Northborough, Mass., and will also vote on Hudson's proposal to approve a one-year extension of the existing shareholder rights plan, which was put in place after Hudson disclosed an accounting fraud in 2011.
Integrated Resource Group
Business information technology company Integrated Resource Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: IRG) will report fourth-quarter and fiscal 2013 earnings on Monday. The company is expected to earn a profit of 26 cents per share for the quarter, down from 24 cents per share in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2013, according to a consensus estimate from Thomson Reuters. IRG earned 20 cents per share in the fiscal fourth quarter of 2012.
CFRA
Energy investment and financial services information provider CFRA Group Inc. (NYSE: CFRA) is slated to report fiscal first-quarter financial results before the start of trading Monday. CFRA said in January that it expects its financial results in the fourth quarter to be at or below the high-end of its previously issued guidance, with expenses and revenues below the low-end of the guidance.
Thornberg
Financial information provider Thornberg Enterprises Inc. (Nasdaq: THORN) will hold its fiscal first-quarter financial results conference call Monday. The company said in December that it expects to earn 19 cents per share in fiscal first-quarter 2013, up from 18 cents per share in fiscal first-quarter 2013.
Webchick Communications
Online financial technology company Webchick Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: WWCB) will issue fiscal first-quarter results Tuesday. Webchick, which provides investment analysis and valuation information for the financial services industry, said in December that its fiscal first-quarter profit will be below the low end of its previously announced range of 19 cents to 20 cents per share, with revenues at the midpoint of its previously announced range of $3.4 million to $3.5 million. The company, which ended fiscal 2013 with revenue of $3.05 million, is expected to report a profit of 20 cents per share for fiscal first-quarter 2013, down from 29 cents per share in the same period of fiscal 2013.
HBM
Financial news network CNBC will announce its purchase of Hollingsworth Business Media at the CNBC Media and Business Marketing Conference in Boston, CNBC said Monday. CNBC said the purchase is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2013.

Greenbrier Companies
Business transportation and logistics company Greenbrier Companies, Inc. (NYSE: GBX) will hold its annual meeting Tuesday at the New York Stock Exchange. Greenbrier's board of directors is expected to approve an extension of its share repurchase plan, a new share repurchase plan and the payment of a cash dividend at the meeting. Greenbrier also said last week that it would purchase Dunbar Freight Lines Inc. for about $650 million.

Business information provider Newmark Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEWM) will release its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings after the close of trading on Tuesday. The company reported a profit of $13.6 million in the same period of fiscal 2012.
Superior Food Brands
Superior Food Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: SFDB) will hold its annual meeting Tuesday. The business is expected to report fiscal first-quarter earnings before the market opens Tuesday, according to Thomson Reuters.
Safety Insurance Group
Insurance company Safety Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: SAFM) is scheduled to hold its annual meeting and conference call on Tuesday.
